Shoulder issue: what should I do next?

First time posting here, and I could use some advice. After finishing my back workout today, I was reminded of my uneven shoulders, and now I really want to do something about it, but I can’t afford to see a professional. So, I’ve decided to just keep working out as usual.

What do you guys think is the best approach? I’ve been able to make it to the gym three times a week, though I’m not following a proper diet since I’m still very skinny when I should be bulking up. Should I stick with this routine or switch to calisthenics? If so, what new exercises should I incorporate to help address my uneven shoulder issue?

I’m not sure about the nature of your issue, but you should definitely consult a professional to be certain. If you’re experiencing pain, I wouldn’t recommend continuing to train as if nothing’s wrong. Pain is a sign that something is off, so I strongly encourage you to do whatever you can to see a specialist.

That said, it’s important to maintain good nutrition while working out. Omega-3s are essential for joint health (among many other body functions) and help reduce inflammation, which is a common cause of pain. You might also want to look into corrective exercises for uneven shoulders, similar to physiotherapy routines.

However, I want to stress that if you keep training without making adjustments, you could end up injured and eventually unable to work out at all. I understand professionals can be costly, but saving up for a consultation is a worthwhile investment in your long-term health.
