As someone who has been working out for over three years, I have to say that investing in adjustable dumbbells was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Not only do they allow me to perform a wide range of exercises from the comfort of my own home, but they have also helped me save a significant amount of money on gym memberships and personal training sessions.
Before purchasing the dumbbells, I used to spend hundreds of dollars each year on gym memberships and personal training sessions. However, now that I have access to a variety of weights at home, together with a workout bench, I no longer feel the need to pay for expensive gym memberships or hire costly personal trainers.
I own Ativafit adjustable dumbbells, and they are incredibly versatile and durable, making them perfect for intermediate fitness lovers like myself. I especially love them when they can switch weights in a few seconds, which saves time and keeps my momentum. Plus, their compact size means that they take up minimal space in my home gym.
Overall, if you’re looking to save money on your fitness journey without sacrificing quality or convenience, then investing in an adjustable dumbbell set is definitely a wise choice.
Fast adjustable Dumbbells are great and imo the second best option for home training but have a big downside in price and still require home space for a bench to unlock many exercises and lack ability to train some leg muscles. A 70lb dumbbell goes for $300.
Have you ever tried bands? I was skeptical at first but realized they produce same results as weight, as many scientific studies support that. Imo they’re the best way to train at home since cheap ($60 for 300lb) doesn’t require bench and can train all muscles. Just requires some adjustment on how you do exercises.
I would say the home gym is cheaper in the long term. In the beginning, you can only invest weights like adjustable dumbbells, or resistance bands if you don’t have much muscle strength. It won’t cost much. Plus, it saves time and cost of commuting. However, please get an experienced pal to guide you and correct your form if you are a beginner.
That’s great to hear that investing in adjustable dumbbells has worked well for you and helped you save money on gym memberships and personal training sessions. Home gyms can indeed be a cost-effective alternative to traditional gym memberships, especially in the long run.
