I'm trying to design a simple morning exercise routine that I can do at home with little to no equipment, but all the different exercises are a bit overwhelming

The Nike Fitness app is free and offers complete workout programs tailored to your fitness level and the equipment you have. They’re fantastic!

I lost over 40 pounds and have maintained the weight loss for nearly 6 years with home “deck of cards” workouts. Assign each suit to a different exercise – I focus on full-body workouts, so spades are always burpees, clubs target glutes/quads, diamonds are for arms, and hearts work the abs. Draw 4 cards at a time and work through the entire deck.

You might want to try loop resistance bands; they’re gentle on the joints, reducing the risk of injury, and are just as effective as weights.

I only use powerbands, anchoring them to my door, which feels like having a complete gym at home. I use the Weller Bands app for workout programs, with exercises listed for every muscle group.

If you enjoy workout videos, there’s an excellent YouTube channel called HAS Fit (Heart and Soul Fitness). It’s run by a married couple who create a wide range of videos for all fitness levels—from beginners to advanced—catering to various groups (like seniors, pregnant women, no equipment needed, etc.) and different time durations. Their philosophy is that fitness should be accessible to everyone, and they offer almost every type of workout you could want.

The r/bodyweightfitness subreddit has a recommended routine that many people have found effective.
