I'm looking for an effective weight loss program that uses just dumbbells and a barbell

28-year-old male here. I used to exercise regularly and I’m actually a nutritionist, but I lost control during the pandemic and have become somewhat obese. I have a barbell, dumbbells, and various weights, along with a yoga mat. I’m planning to work out three times a week and incorporate my dance practice as cardio since I have salsa class twice a week. Can someone assist me with a home workout plan?

Have I honestly been getting “dumbbell” wrong all this time?

As a nutritionist, you might be aware that exercise, whether aerobic or anaerobic, isn’t the most effective way to lose weight. Even a small junk food snack can undo the benefits of an hour of exercise. Diet is crucial, and the most effective methods include fasting and intermittent fasting.

I suggest you explore this further; there are many subreddits on this topic.

Fasting with an emphasis on low carbs for added benefits.
