I’m looking for an app (free or paid, if it is good enough I don’t mind) that offers daily workouts to do at home, without equipment. Currently I’m using ‘Home workout - No Equipment’ for 10 days but I noticed that it has no lower body exercises.
I used ‘keep’ for a long time! It’s completely free and offers a variety of 4-week exercise plans as well as one-time workouts.
I recommend trying it out; the pre-made schedule helped me stay consistent, with programs lasting between 20-30 minutes a day (you can do more if you like though), making it easy to feel motivated and fit a workout in.
You can choose plans based on your goals (weight loss, muscle building, etc.) and body type/form. There’s a point-based system for ‘buying’ plans, but I never had to spend any money since you get free options from the start and earn points by daily logins and completing exercises, which kept me motivated.
Almost all workouts can be done without equipment; all you need is a floor, wall, and maybe a chair. I reached a point where it required ‘dumbbells’, but I used two bags of heavy books instead. Get creative with what you have at home if necessary. Hope this helps! Have a great day

Oh, I forgot to mention the ‘tracking progress’ part; it does track your exercise history (duration, days, plan details), but not specific reps or sets. For that, you’ll need to manually keep track.
Hey! I was in your position at the start of the year, and I briefly used Fizzup…
After a few weeks, I realized I could learn the exercises and proper form and create my own workouts!
Now, I use Strong to track and plan workouts, drawing inspiration from various fitness apps—all without needing any equipment. Hope this helps! Fizzup was good, but I found it a bit short for my taste, overly focused on core work (which I was struggling with, very demotivating).
Tip: I use a stool for bench dips and get creative with everyday furniture—find something like a chair or a bench to vary your exercises. I’ve invested in a pull-up bar for more variation, but a lot of household items can double as equipment.
I used Jeremy Ethier’s Built With Science workout program. He designed one specifically for the pandemic with no equipment at all and optional resistance band training. I believe it’s around $40.
It also includes useful nutrition info. I’ve been following the full-body workout for about a month now. I’m focusing on recomposition, so the improvements have been gradual.
Check out ‘Just 6 Weeks’. It’s an app that costs $2.99 and features seven exercises aimed at maximizing results in six weeks. It has built-in rest periods that vary by day, making it great for beginners or anyone wanting to focus on bodyweight exercises.
I use the push-up and sit-up app before my PT tests to ensure I max out. At $3, it’s a steal.
You might like this app: Interval Timer
It has pre-built workouts like a Beginners Full Body Workout in just 7 minutes, etc.
Alternatively, you can search the internet for workouts you enjoy & create a unique routine in the app by customizing interval names, descriptions, and durations—using time (like 3 minutes) or reps (like 5 reps), starting and ending alerts, countdowns, and more.

Have you found an alternative to the Home Workout app? I’m currently using it but want to switch since it doesn’t have a dark mode.
Hi.
I stopped using HW a while ago. It provided a good general routine, but since I bike for 45 minutes every day for my job, my legs are often more tired than the rest of my body. Now, I search for a solid 20-30 minute workout (I have my favorites) on YouTube. I typically choose something that offers a full-body workout, then follow that with 15-20 minutes of yoga.
When certain parts of my body are more fatigued, I focus on working the rest of my body. For example, if my legs are sore, I’ll do a workout concentrating on my core and/or arms, followed by yoga.
I’m gradually increasing intensity (moving from beginner workouts to HIIT on certain days and extending duration), but mainly I choose what I want to target each day.
