Hi, I’m a working mom looking to improve a few areas of my body. Can anyone offer advice or suggest some workouts to help me get started? I have a poor self-image and believe that working out might boost my self-esteem. I particularly want to focus on my butt and abs.
It’s important to start slowly and gently if you haven’t worked out in a while. I recommend the Okami workout program. Although the channel is relatively new, it offers excellent routines for people, especially women, who are just getting back into exercise. The workouts are short and manageable. I hope you find this helpful.
Abs should be one of the last muscle groups to focus on because building muscle requires body fat, and fat can conceal your abs. Consider using resistance bands; they are as effective as weights but gentler on the joints. I use the Weller app and their PowerBands.
Hi! I just created a home workout and would love for you to try it. I can send it over to you! =)
Hello! I began in a similar way and have been using the “Female Fitness - Women Workout” app. It’s free, though you can pay for premium features if you choose. The app offers a range of customized workouts and stretches that can be easy or challenging, and you can fit them into just a few minutes a day without needing any equipment. I’ve been gradually incorporating weights and resistance bands into my routine. I just get up in workout-appropriate PJs and complete my workout first thing in the morning. It was a fantastic starting point for me, and it might be for you too.
