Anyone have a great at home workout routine that has really made a difference

Walking pad, 100%. Having easy access to mine to use almost every day gave me immediate results.

I like MadFit. She offers many workouts great for small spaces. I did her 30-minute full-body workout recently, and it was all compound weight lifting moves. I was sweating (which isn’t typical for me during weight workouts) and felt sore the next day. She also has lots of short workouts focusing on specific body parts, which is nice if you only have a few minutes to spare.

Try the Down Dog HIIT workout app. It’s super customizable. I burned nearly 250 calories in 30 minutes, and every session features new combinations of exercises.

Getting a Peloton really changed my routine! Not only am I enjoying the cycling classes, but the range of classes keeps my workouts more dynamic than ever. I used to stick to Pilates at home and going for runs outside, but now I can do strength training, Pilates, barre, cycling, and yoga, targeting muscle groups I never considered before. Before Peloton, hunting down different workout programs across multiple apps was overwhelming, so I often did the same Pilates classes until they were no longer effective. I thrive with structured workouts for cardio, and the cycling classes really push me to go further than I would just running alone. I love it and it gets me to my fitness goals.

I bought a stepper machine on Amazon for $60, plus I have some weights and a couple of resistance bands. I mix it up at home with Pilates, yoga, HIIT, and more. I use the Nike Training Club app on my phone and find videos available on Netflix as well. I also take workout suggestions from this sub! I like to keep it varied—typically, I do a 10-minute warm-up on the stepper, followed by 20-30 minutes of various workouts, and then back to the stepper for another 20 minutes at full incline.

I think I’ll eventually outgrow some of this and might need to hit the gym to lift heavier weights, but for now, I feel like I can stick with this setup for a long time.

I started using Obé during the pandemic and haven’t been back to the gym since.

Hit Play Fitness has a great program/app for home workouts with Dr. Jen! They have 30-minute sessions, and the app includes timing and text features from the coach.

The best at-home workout routine for me includes running. I do around one mile of sprints, alternating between jogging and sprinting, followed by various pushup sets until I can’t anymore. I’ve also added sit-ups for good measure. The beauty of working out is that it doesn’t have to be complicated. Just running, pushups, sit-ups, and the right motivation will get you started. You’ve got this! Keep pushing yourself.
