Are Push-Ups Worth It for Home Workouts?

How is your progress, mate? Around the last time you posted, you could hit 35/45 in one go.

Honestly, been a hectic past month, so I haven’t been working on it too much. Before life went insane, I was doing about 50 in a row. I started using a 20lb dumbbell to do curls and at first I could barely do 5, but after about a month, I was able to do 20 in a row. I’d struggle with the last few, but it was real fast growth.

Honestly, using the dumbbell provided the biggest noticeable muscle growth. Push-ups did help too, but I felt I noticed the most growth with the dumbbells.

@Jordan
Right on dude, good to hear you’ve kept at it.

Also, a kettlebell. Around the worlds, goblet squats, reapers, snatches, etc. all can be done while in a relatively small space.

Push-ups are absolute basics. Can’t imagine not doing it. They are good for arms, abs, back.

Yes.

Just a quick Google search. What Muscles Do Push-Ups Work?

But you will be able to find more, for sure.
