I’m planning to include these two exercises in my upper body routine and will be using resistance bands for both. They look quite similar, so I’m wondering what the difference is between them.

Lat pulldowns begin from overhead and finish either under your chin or behind your neck. Tricep pushdowns start from chest height and end at your hips. You’ll notice the difference in muscle activation between the two exercises when you perform them.
The lat pulldown should never be performed behind your neck.
They’re essentially the same exercise, just referred to by different names.
