How should I start?

Hello there, I’m a teenager. During the lockdown, I gained roughly 25 pounds, which isn’t too awful considering I grew, but I still gained weight. Not significantly, although I gained weight. I want to start exercising and following a diet now. I’ve made several attempts at this, but I constantly lose motivation. I discovered that it was because I initially tried too hard and didn’t get acclimated to it. I want to start out slowly and work my way up. This time, I don’t want to lose enthusiasm, so I need guidance on how to start exercising at home without any equipment and following a very simple diet.

Running and the Cico diet. For accountability and incentive, use Couch 2 5K.
C25k may be criticized by some, but I utilized it when I first started, and it helped me develop a new “love” for running and reach my first 5k.

Edit: consume water-rich foods like water melons and catelope as well. Although watermelon is high in water and low in calories, it has a chemical that helps people lose weight. However, if you eat too much of it, it could upset your stomach.

If you need to reduce weight, I would advise you to start with omad or intermittent fasting before building muscle. Check out the subreddits.

I’m grateful.Thank you

The best part is that you can lose fat by simply eating genuine meals once a day and doing nothing else. To satisfy your hunger, throw out any junk food and drink lots of water. Walk a lot before your meal window at a steady pace to speed up fat loss, and listen to a podcast to keep yourself from feeling rushed.

Should I also cut off bread from my diet?

No, carbohydrates are also necessary. Not too much, though. Don’t go overboard right away. Arrive at 23-1 (Omad) after starting at IF 16-8. Every week, you take one hour out of the eating window.

What is your victory? Work backwards from there. If you are successful where does your diet end? What do you plan to do after you reach your goals to sustain that success? Remember, the vast majority of people that lose weight gain it back. How are you going to be one of the people that doesn’t? Appearance is a side effect of fitness, very few people can fake it.

Carefully and slowly.

Finding a shopping bag hurts to carry, and I have elbow tendinitis from doing overhead tricep raises.

This is what I would recommend. Try to be active first. Start with a 30-minute daily walk and perform a few push-ups (push-ups are great for getting back in shape). Or participate in a sport you enjoy. Really, anything will work. Your diet will then need to be adjusted based on your degree of activity. Generally speaking, you should eat enough to support your workout without going overboard or under.
