For informational purposes I’m 20F, 50 kg, and between 169 and 170 cm tall. I never struggled with weight, and the only “workout” I ever did—if you can call it that—was in physical education class in elementary school. I haven’t done any workout or participated in any sports since. Now that I’m pursuing a degree in computer science and am essentially hooked to my computer all the time, it gets much worse. My running condition is terrible, and my muscles tremble whenever I attempt a few push-ups or squats. My flexibility, particularly in my lower back, is the only positive trait I have maintained over the years. I also eat a somewhat healthy diet, primarily consisting of homemade meals.
Every hour, you should preferably take a break from sitting, even if it’s only to stand for five minutes. If you anticipate spending many hours a day at a desk, think about purchasing a sit/stand desk. When it comes to physical activity, start with yoga and walking. At the most basic level, neither requires any equipment, and you may perform them for any amount of time and practically anyplace. When you’re starting from scratch, it’s easier to test your body on a daily basis without injuring yourself without the need for additional equipment.
A few years later, I started running, and I did a “couch to 5k” program. I was out of breath just running to the end of the block, but now I run for miles without stopping. Fitness is fantastic. I hope you stick with it. I was in your shoes. What I did was follow a video workout. I recommend p90x or any series from Beach Body (you do have to pay a subscription). You can find many workouts online, but their expertise can be suspect.
I’ve been informed that the movies are accessible on the high seas, complete with all the necessary documentation.
Since all of the videos are only 30 minutes long, I suggest p90x3.
First and foremost, establish an achievable routine. It will be simple to add extra workouts after you have a solid one.
