Hey ladies! I’m trying to improve my fitness routine and would love to know—what are some home workouts that work well for you? I’m especially looking for exercises that don’t require a ton of equipment since I’m working with limited space. Any tips for routines that help with toning, strength, or cardio? Also, how do you stay consistent and motivated at home?
I’ve been doing Blogilates and Chloe Ting’s challenges for about 3 months each, and I’ve lost weight and toned up.
In my opinion, there isn’t one “best home workout.” It’s important to like the trainer’s personality and music, and choose a program that matches your difficulty level. If it’s too hard and you feel wrecked by day 2, you’re unlikely to stick with it. Also, if you hate a specific exercise that the trainer favors, it can make consistency harder.
Running and cardio helped tone my stomach effectively.
Anything with Pamela Reif has worked wonders for me, especially her ab workouts. Her cardio workouts are fantastic too.

Her workouts BURN!
It’s important to enjoy your workout. I love kettlebell workouts, so I’ve been doing those in an online class now that my Muay Thai gym is closed.
I’m skinny fat and want to improve my fitness. I heard Daisy Keech is good, but I’m curious to hear other opinions too. My goals are to achieve a flat stomach and a little booty, and overall fitness. I look pretty skinny, but I lack muscles. It’s been years since I’ve worked out consistently, so I want to change that.

I really enjoy the Peloton app. You don’t need any Peloton equipment to subscribe. It offers a lot of variety, including workout boot camps lasting 2-3 weeks, dance cardio, HIIT workouts, and strength training.
You can filter by time, music style, instructor, and available equipment. New content is added daily, and you can join live classes or catch up later. I’ve wasted money on other workout content that lacks quality, but Peloton really simplifies the process. I just hit play and get it done.

Is this a free app or do you have to pay for the subscription?

It costs $12.99 a month, but they offer a 2-month free trial. If you know someone with a Peloton, they can share their membership with up to 3 people. My sister-in-law shared hers with me.

I have the bike but often rely on the app for my workouts. I love how it includes quick 10-minute routines that really burn, as well as fun 30-minute dance cardio workouts.

I adore the dance cardio too!
@Frost
Me too! I love the older classes—they teach you the dance in a fun way, while the newer classes can be harder to follow.
Honestly, just finding a few inspiring fitness influencers on Instagram with workouts I enjoy and sticking with them. I mainly do strength training splits.
Having a set of heavy weights in my garage has been a game changer.
I’d also recommend Caroline Girvan.
I’ve tested numerous home workouts but struggled with consistency and boredom. However, Caroline’s free YouTube videos have been incredible! I’ve completed two of her EPIC 10-week programs (Epic Heat, Epic 3, and her Christmas Advent Calendar workouts). I truly appreciate how strong I’ve become, and I feel amazing after every workout!
She offers 1-week and 2-week programs as well. I’m currently enjoying her Epic Endgame program, which has been fantastic. She is a certified personal trainer and highly credible in other fitness areas.
Her Facebook community is incredibly supportive as well, where you can see everyone’s results. From my journey, I’ve learned not to keep switching fitness influencers’ programs too frequently. It’s beneficial to find a certified program that resonates with you and to remain consistent.
I really like no-equipment kickboxing using Popsugar YouTube videos and dance workouts like Afrobeats. HIIT is generally enjoyable for me, but burpees are a bit tedious.
I do the same Yoga with Kassandra video every day for an hour. She practices yin yoga; it’s gentle, slow, and really stretching.
My workouts consist of bodyweight resistance exercises like push-ups, pull-ups, burpees, squats, floor tricep dips, mountain climbers, and lunges.
I run every day, which has helped me a lot.
