I’m curious if anyone here practices PHA (Peripheral Heart Training) at home. Most of the available resources are aimed at those with gym access. What’s it like working out at home with this method?
For those unfamiliar, PHA involves alternating upper and lower body strength training exercises to enhance blood circulation. This approach not only reduces lactic acid build-up but also provides a cardio workout alongside strength training, all while being easier on the joints.
I do HIIT workouts at home, and you might want to look into that. A typical approach is 30 seconds of work followed by 60 seconds of rest, repeating for about 5 rounds at full intensity. Burpees are my go-to since they target the entire body—upper, mid, and lower. You can also switch it up and include multiple exercises.
