I’m thinking of purchasing a jump rope and using it as soon as I get up each morning. I thought this may be an excellent outdoor exercise on the sidewalk because I live in a small apartment.
Has anyone ever exercised just using a jump rope? Or are there any jump rope challenges that you are aware of?
I wanted to know if there would be any difference after 30 days.
I can attest from personal experience that jumping rope is an excellent cardiovascular workout that burns calories. After a good 20 minutes of jumping, I always feel more energized; I can’t say the same about running. Your initial aim of thirty days is a good one, but watch out that you don’t take on more than you can do and don’t leap for too long because shin splints aren’t enjoyable. Additionally, as a novice, I suggest against jumping barefoot because your feet’s balls won’t be able to withstand repeated hits for very long
