I am 37 years old and 5’8" and 170 pounds. My ideal weight is around 150. I want to know if I can get a nicer looking chest and a leaner frame with just body weight exercise and cardio and diet. What exercise programs would you recommend

You dont need weights to get lean. Try doing 50 reps of push ups and sit ups and squats. If you can find something to do a pull up with you can add those in. Burpees are also good

Starting with 50 push ups sounds like a lot. I guess we all start in different places
Yes it is possible to have a nicer looking chest with a calorie deficit and bodyweight training. Your muscles are hidden below the fat and once you shed it off your chest and body will look nicer. I made a fitness app that can help you get into a fitness habit
It is possible but it will take more time. You dont need cardio to build muscle. Loop resistance bands are a great middle ground and are cheap but have heavy resistance
